Today is my brother's 9th birthday. Oh joy!
Pssh, yeah right.
Anyways, I feel like doing a little recount of my life like Jamie and Emma. Becasue I want to. And I'm ored, and I don't wanna clean my roomn or look for pictures of Pluto.
I was born on October 31st, 1996. My mum was 30 and my dad was 31. We live in Victoria, Australia, and still do. When I was 2 1/2, I was the flowergirl for my aunty's wedding. We have it on tape.
In 1999, I started 3-year-old kinderarten. I made some friends, one of which I am still in contact with.
On the 26th of April, 2000, my little brother, Stephen, was born. That was the year I did 4-year-old kinder.
Also in that year, we knocked down our house and began building another. I can vaugly remember what our old house looked like, and now the only way I can really tell I have it right is in videos or photos.
We moved into a rental house, anf stayed there for about 15-18 months. Stephen's 1st birthday was there.
In 2001 (i think), we moved into our new house.
When 2002 came along, it was time for me to go to primary school.
2003, grade 1, 2004, grade 2, 2005, grade 3, and then 2006. Grade 4. That was the year my mum started working at my school, as the librarian. It was mid term 2, I think. I started going to afterschool care everynight, except Wednesday, 'cause it was mum's day off.
I was accused by some kids that I only came becasue I was a loner, and needed more friends.
I attepted to play football with the boys, but they wouldn't let me get the ball, and they tackled me so hard that I would come home limping, covered in bruises. This went on until I got into grade 5. That year, mum found out we were allowed to stay in the library with her after school, if we wished. We did, and we just played on the computers in the multimedia room for an hour everyday. I could never have friends come over to my house after school, becasue I was in the library with mum. And I had too much homework to go over to anybody else's house.
I began riding my bike to and from school. I would be home before mum and Stephen, so I had the house to myself for half an hour almost every afternoon. Mum continued working, and everything semed fine. But then, in term 3, I was sick. Like, really sick. As in, 'we'll need to admit you inot the hospital' sick. So, for 2 nights in a row, I was in the ER with my mum, for a total of almost 12 hours. The doctors thought I had appendisitis, so I had to stay in hospital for a night. The wouldn't let me eat anything. Apple juice and ice-cream, that was it. I had me DS with me, but I couldn't play it, as I had needles in each hand. At night I got so homesick they had to call my mum and she came and stayed with me. I was diagnosed with lymphadenitis, adn got to go home. I just had to take A LOT of painkillers.
2007 was just suddenly gone. In the blink of an eye. All of my older friends had gone to high school, leaving me with all the other to-be grade 6's.
There had been a student teacher in my class for 2007. He was my teacher in grade 6. He was the first male teacher I'd ever had. He was friends with my mum, and one of my friends, Alysha, her mum was a teacher too. So our teacher was friends with her aswell. He always seemed to single us out from eveyone else, go on us especially hard if we had done something wrong. Apparently, it was so it didn't look like he was favouring us because he knew our parents.
Then graduation. I had to do two different speeches, so I was really nervous, but I did okay.
My great-grandma is still alive, so I've never been to a funeral, but unfortunatly I know how it all works, thanks to Scouts. It's really sad to go and see my great-gandmother anyway, she has no idea who we are.
And now to the present day. I'm in my 2nd term of high school, and not enjoying it at all. I get LOADS of homework, and I don't get to see my friends from my old school that much anymore.
Okay... that's about it...
Wow, that was like, half an hour of my life wasted. Oh well.
